Only wholesalers will be able to buy and sell through Webshelf. However, other groups (for example contractors) will be able to view the site to see what products are available. If they see a product that they require, they will need to contact a Webshelf-registered wholesaler in order to locate it.

1.7) Why do I need an email address in order to use WebShelf
Several reasons: when you are buying items, you have the option to send an automatic email to the seller, this email needs your email address to work; likewise when someone else wants to send an email to you, your email address is needed; for invoicing, we use electronic invoices, again, your email address is needed so we can send them to you.

2) Buying And Selling
2.1) How much does it cost to buy and sell through Webshelf?
Webshelf takes no commission. Your monthly subscription is your only payment. Once you have located the product that you require, you contact the seller direct and purchase it in the normal way. You do not need to inform Webshelf that the product has been sold, although you should remember to remove or amend the details of the product on the website to ensure that it remains up to date. Webshelf would, however, be delighted to hear about your success stories.

2.2) Once I have placed an item for sale on Webshelf, do I have to leave it there until I have sold it?
No. You can remove products at any time. Once you have removed an item you can replace it with another. The limit to the number of product lines that you can advertise, which is set when you register, is a limit at any moment in time. You could decide to advertise one range one week and replace it with another range the next week in order to see which items generate the most interest.

2.3) Can I increase the number of product lines that I have available?
Yes. Just contact Webshelf and your subscription will be upgraded.
